Yellow Ochre

Yellow Ochre is an opaque warm yellow commonly used in art for its warm and subdued yellow hue. Originally composed of clay tinted by iron oxide found in earth, it is one of the oldest pigments used by man.
For this work I wanted to elevate the materials I use in the studio to a fine art setting. By plaster casting replicas of each of my paint tubes, I affirm the act of making as an art work.
